Rose Venkatesan
Rose Venkatesan is an Indian talk show host based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is a trans woman, and has been active in many fields like television and radio.

Rose is transgendered.〔http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/people/I-was-a-woman-within/articleshow/5958534.cms〕 She became aware of her femininity when she was young around five years old and felt uncomfortable being a boy. She started dressing as a woman when she was in her early twenties.
It took her years to tell her family how she felt, but when she did, they were devastated. Her family even looked at marriage as a possible solution after she returned from the United States until they finally accepted her for who she is, although many in her family are still not willing to accept her gender identity.
